Don Capalbi Way

Don Capalbi was a civic leader and community activist in the Queensboro Hill neighborhood of Flushing, Queens. The son of an Italian immigrant mother and an American father, he grew up in Astoria. Capalbi was head of the Queensboro Hill Civic Association, was active in various community groups, and served as a community liaison for Assemblywoman Grace Meng. He has also been honored with an engraved bench at the Queens Botanical Garden.
