Remsen Family Cemetery

This park served first as the family farm and then the burial ground for the Remsen Family. They were one of the earliest Rego Park settlers, immigrating from Germany in the 17th century. Family members buried here include Revolutionary War veteran, Colonel Jeromus Remsen.

The site has beed designated as a historic landmark and is used as a memorial and as public space.
