Anthony Mason Way

Anthony Mason (1966-2015) was a professional basketball player. During his 13-year career, he played for the New Jersey Nets, Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Charlotte Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Miami Heat. Mason achieved several accolades: he earned the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 1995 and was named to the All-NBA Third Team and NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 1997.

Mason grew up in South Jamaica, Queens, and attended Springfield Gardens High School. In 2015, the school's gymnasium was dedicated to him and renamed "Mase Court" in his honor.

Mason founded the charity "Family On Three Foundation," which educated youth on financial management and healthy life skills.
